Hi, I'm Lisa, the founder of Lisa's Luscious Bakes. My love for baking began when I was just a little girl, spending countless hours in the kitchen with my grandmother, creating delicious treats for Christmas. I still remember trying my best not to get scolded for licking the spoon! Those precious moments sparked a passion that has grown ever since.

My love for baking took on a new meaning when I was on maternity leave, after I decided to create fondant figures for my daughter’s first birthday cake in December during lockdown. By February, I was baking more and more, and that’s when I decided to take the leap and officially register my business. Valentine's Day was a huge success—I sold out! From that point on, I kept experimenting with new flavours and perfecting my skills. It was during this time that I discovered my love for creating cupcake bouquets, something that allows me to bring a little extra magic to people’s special moments.

One of my all-time favourite bakes is the classic Millionaire's Shortbread. There's something so satisfying about patiently perfecting the caramel to achieve that rich, mouthwatering bite. However, my best-selling item right now is my cookie pies, which I’m constantly reinventing with exciting new flavours. My personal favourite is the Bakewell Cookie Pie, packed with over six different elements. If you're a fan of almond and raspberry, you absolutely can’t go wrong! We currently offer more than seven different flavors, so if you see us at an event, make sure to give them a try.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I balance my part-time job working in the operating theatres at Epsom Hospital with spending quality time with my family. My husband and two beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Abigail, are my world. We love taking long country walks with our three dogs, often ending at a cozy local pub. I’m happiest when I’m on holiday, with sand between my toes, the sun shining, and my family close by—perhaps with a cocktail in hand!
